About this tender

Anvera 48 S - what we know.

The Anvera 48 is the build we ask the Misano Adriatico yard for when a programme needs a genuinely fast following boat that can also function as a proper day cruiser at anchor. At 14.50 m overall, it sits in a useful bracket - large enough to carry expanding terraces and a full suite of interior accommodation, compact enough to be managed by a small crew. The headline figure is 50 knots top speed, backed by a combined consumption figure of 2.7 litres per nautical mile at 35 knots, which Anvera publishes directly on the model page.

Construction is built around carbon structures throughout, including the hardtop, which keeps displacement low and the power-to-weight ratio high enough to make the performance figures credible rather than aspirational. The deck arrangement centres on terraces that open outboard to create a floating beach platform - a format that has become the standard ask from superyacht owners running a chase boat in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. The interior goes further than most boats in this category, with a king-size bow cabin, a separate twin cabin midships, and a full bathroom with independent shower.

We would put the Anvera 48 alongside the Wider 42 and Frauscher 1017 GT Air in the category of Italian and Austrian builds that take fit and finish seriously enough to stand up to scrutiny from owners who spend time aboard larger yachts. The fully bespoke configuration process - every layout, every material choice made to order - means no two hulls are identical, which suits buyers who want a chase boat that reads as a considered extension of the mothership rather than a production tender with options ticked.

Highlights

Built for the work.

The four details we'd point out first to a captain who hasn't seen one on the water yet.

01

50-knot top speed

Anvera quotes a top speed of 50 knots for the 48. At 35 knots cruise, combined fuel consumption is cited at 2.7 litres per nautical mile, which places this hull in the efficient end of the high-performance tender bracket and supports longer passages between refuelling stops.

02

Carbon structures and ultra-light hardtop

The superstructure, hardtop, and principal load-bearing elements are built in carbon throughout. The manufacturer specifically calls out the hardtop as ultra-light, designed to remain structurally tidy around the air intake, and the approach runs through to handrails and deck hardware.

03

Expanding terrace beam

With terraces folded, beam is 4.91 m. With terraces open, the working beam extends to 5.51 m, adding 600 mm of usable deck on each side and creating the beach-platform footprint that owners with a water-toy programme require.

04

Full interior accommodation

The most requested layout includes a king-size bow cabin, twin facing settees in the main saloon, a separate midships twin cabin, and a full bathroom with independent shower. Ceiling heights are described as striking for the category, giving the interior a suite-level sense of volume.

05

Full bespoke configuration

Anvera does not offer a standard-fit production model. Every hull is configured individually, with layout, materials, and exterior arrangements specified directly by the owner. This is the build approach for a programme where the tender needs to read as designed rather than selected from a price list.

Questions, answered

Before you enquire.

What top speed does the Anvera 48 achieve?
Anvera publishes a top speed of 50 knots for the 48. At a 35-knot cruise the yard quotes combined consumption of 2.7 litres per nautical mile, which is notably efficient for a 14.50 m performance hull and supports extended coastal passages without frequent refuelling.
Can the Anvera 48 be used as a superyacht chase boat?
Yes. Anvera explicitly positions the 48 as a following tender for superyachts alongside its day-cruiser role. The performance envelope, bespoke configuration process, and expanding beach terraces all suit a chase-boat programme. The yard also maintains a dedicated Chase Boat section on its website covering this use case.
How much beam does the Anvera 48 gain when the terraces are open?
Hull beam is 4.91 m. With the terraces fully extended, working beam increases to 5.51 m, a gain of 600 mm that creates the deck footprint needed for a water-toy programme or a beach-club-style platform at anchor.
What accommodation does the Anvera 48 offer?
The most requested layout comprises a king-size bow cabin, twin facing settees in the main saloon, a midships twin cabin, and a full bathroom with a separate shower. Ceiling heights are designed to give the interior a sense of volume above what the exterior length would suggest.
Is the Anvera 48 a production boat or a bespoke build?
It is a bespoke build. Anvera states that every hull is envisioned and built around the individual owner. Layout, materials, and exterior arrangements are all specified to order, so no two hulls are identical. Buyers should expect a proper specification and build dialogue rather than a standard-options process.
Where is the Anvera 48 built?
Anvera is the brand of LG-Yacht, based at Via Tazio Nuvolari 74, Misano Adriatico, Rimini, Italy. The yard also maintains a US presence through Anvera Yacht USA in Miami, Florida.

Anvera

Misano Adriatico, Italy

Anvera is an Italian builder operating under the LG-Yacht banner out of Misano Adriatico, on the Adriatic coast. The company traces its composite-materials roots back to 1991, when its predecessor was producing racing catamarans, and the Anvera brand itself launched its first production boat, the 55, in 2015. The design language comes from Aldo Drudi, a collaborator who arrived from motorsport, and that provenance is readable in every hull: aggressive, low-profile silhouettes that sit closer to a hypercar sketch than a conventional tender.

The build proposition is what we keep coming back to. Every hull is constructed entirely in carbon fibre with epoxy resin, and LG-Yacht manufactures its own carbon in-house at a dedicated facility separate from the assembly and finishing shop. The result is a power-to-weight ratio that lets the range reach competitive speeds on smaller, lower-emission engine packages rather than brute-forcing performance through horsepower alone.

The current range runs from 42 to 66 feet, with model numbers that correspond directly to LOA in feet: the 42 (12.9m), 48, 55, 58 (17.5m), and 66, plus the high-performance 42 Speedster. Each model is configurable as a chase boat, day cruiser, weekender, or mini support vessel. The 58 carries sixteen guests and is quoted at a 53-knot top speed; the 48 reaches 50 knots while returning 3.4 litres per mile at 40 knots. A signature feature across the range is the fold-down stern terraces that convert the aft deck into a floating beach-club platform - practical for a water-toy programme and directly relevant to how chase-boat programmes are run today. Commercial-code certification to MCA SCV MGN-280 and Malta CYC 2020/2024 standards is available.
