About this tender
EVENE Origin 57 - what we know.
The Origin 57 is the build we ask Evene for when a 30-metre-plus programme needs a tender that earns its place on the swim platform rather than simply filling it. At 5.65m with a 2.25m beam and a dry weight of 1,340 kg, the numbers are compact enough for a conventional davit cycle but substantial enough to carry nine persons in genuine comfort. The Yanmar 4LV diesel returns 40 mph - a figure that keeps pace with most day-running requirements without demanding the engineering overhead of a twin-engine installation.
What separates the Origin 57 from a straightforward GRP runabout is the build philosophy Evene has applied to the hull and the deck. The Petestep hull form is designed to reduce planing resistance and spray, which matters at the speeds this engine class produces. Cork decking and eco-upholstery are standard fitment, not optional add-ons, and the yard has published a life-cycle assessment covering the production phase - 17,840 kg CO2e - which gives programme managers a defensible sustainability number at the outset rather than a marketing claim.
Standard equipment covers the practical ground well: a Raymarine Axiom 12-inch MFD with depth sounder and chartplotter, automatic fire extinguisher, engine flushing point, bilge pump, and four padeye lift points. The options list extends the boat into a more capable specification - single-point or custom in-floor lifting points for man-riding compliance, AIS, VHF, a Fusion audio system, integrated bimini and spray dodger, and a fresh water shower. MCA-compliant high-visibility patch is available for programmes operating under flag-state survey.
