The engine fit is twin Volvo Penta D6-IPS 650 as standard, with a triple-650 IPS configuration available for owners who want the extra reserve. Both options route drive through Volvo's pod system, which contributes to the low noise signature and the clean, uncluttered deck aft. Four berths, a master cabin with vanity desk, and a separate guest cabin mean the Zeelander 5 is a liveaboard proposition for two couples, not simply a day boat with a bunk. The 360-degree wheelhouse view, sliding sunroof, and integrated galley complete a layout that Zeelander describes as a superyacht at sports-cruiser scale - and the specification supports that claim.
