Novamarine BS100 Outboard - what we know.

The Novamarine Black Shiver 100 EFB is the sterndrive edition of the yard's ten-metre flagship RIB, a model that has become one of the default chase boats for owners running 30 to 50 metre yachts in the Mediterranean. EFB is Novamarine's shorthand for the in-out drive layout (Entro Fuori Bordo), and on this 2023 example the package is twin 250 hp Yanmar 4LV diesels driving Bravo sterndrives. The result is the cleaner stern and quieter low-speed handling of an inboard, with the shallow draft and tight turning circle of an outboard rib.

This particular boat is offered as new condition by Inwards Marine, reference INW1441, lying in Italy. It was delivered to its current owner in 2023 and has been winter stored under cover between seasons. The hull is Kevlar-reinforced GRP with a carbon fibre superstructure and hard top, finished in Novamarine's signature dark grey with full teak decks throughout the cockpit and bow sun pad area.

The Black Shiver 100 is rated for up to twelve guests under CE Category B and reaches 38 to 40 knots at the top end, with a comfortable 30 knot cruise. The 760 litre fuel tank gives a working range of around 200 nautical miles, enough to cover most superyacht tender duties without refuelling. Standard equipment on this hull includes bow thruster, joystick docking, hard top with integrated spot lights, upgraded audio system, and the full walk-around deck layout that makes the 100 EFB equally suited to guest transfers, day cruising, or diving operations.

Asking price is 485,000 euros ex tax, lying afloat in Italy. Sea trial available by appointment.
